【Characteristics】
Color: faint yellow.
Chemical molecular formula: SiO2.nAl2O3.xH2O.
Stable Chemical property ; flame-resisting; insoluble in any solvent. It does not react with any substance except alkali and hydrofluoric acid. Silica alumina gel has good thermal stability. Compared with narrow pore silica gel, it has better surface polarity and adsorption ability.
【Use】
With large specific surface area and strong drying ability, it is the adsorbent widely used . It has higher compressive strength and lower rattler loss, which result in its longer life span than narrow pore silica gel and competitive performance-cost ratio.
Mainly used to dry:
●To dry compressed air
●To dry natural gas
●To dry other kinds of gas
●To dry water that maybe exist in LPG system, please use about 20% (weight of LPG) HY-W Silica alumina gel as protection layer.
